My pain seems to have subsided entirely. Now I am suspicious, indeed paranoid. Hmm…

Chance of a recession. Economy weakening. Already in a recession. At least the economists are slowly getting on the same page. Batten.

Enough doom…here’s why we’re so crazy about azaleas:

They smell just as good.

This little fellow agrees:

Only two more days until Drive Chip and Putt. And, then…

March Melancholy

I wanted to sleep in this morning. Pain had other ideas. I suppose I am lucky in not needing an alarm clock nor ever missing a sunrise. Also, the pain of a thousand workouts has departed my back – now settling in between the shoulders and neck. Progress.

When inspired I write; days like this, I cobble. Here’s what I have:

I need a vacation. Scott Adams seems to be taking the whole month off. You’ll notice the “Vacation Artist X” label on current Dilbert cartoons. Jealous, I must find a friendly squirrel to help me out here.

Dr. Walter Williams gives his informed analysis of what’s wrong with higher education. He also provides some happy exceptions around the country.

A senior German journalist has admitted what many have feared for decades: the European and American media are largely instruments of state propaganda. This being nothing new is still shocking nonetheless. I hear that the nightly news will be renamed the CIA PsyOps Hour.

The trend of indoctrinating American school children in Islam has spread from MN to TN. Nathan Deal having stabbed his majority Christian constituents in the back, perhaps Georgia elementary students will be invited to the next ISIS crucifixion of a Catholic priest. We pay for this crap.

State child abuse. Google.

Happily Masters mania cranks up next week. Shinebox and Daly at Hooters. Golf carts on Washington Road. Class and sunshine in the second city.

Now, where’d I put the Advil?

I don’t feel like writing this morning. My back hurts. That makes sitting, standing, and lying down painfully difficult. You can imagine, I imagine…

So, I give you this: a link to Paul Craig Roberts’s incredible March 23rd oration on the state of the U.S. and the Constitution. Sometimes it’s just better to hand over the mic; no one says it like Roberts.

I will add only the following, off topic enough to inspire speculation as to Ibuprofen intoxication: the big tent is up at Hooters.

Ibrahim and Khalid El Bakraoui, “Belgian” brothers, are dead. Suicide bombings have that effect regardless of familial relation. By itself this would be great news. However, as you know, these brothers took out dozens of decent people – more of a homicide bombing.

The men in black. Dailymail.

The man in white in the above picture is master bomb-maker, Najim Laachraoui. Najim sadly did not participate in the suicidal part of the attack. He’s too important. He made the bombs and those used last year in Paris. He’s probably the most wanted man in Western Europe.

Europe’s former most wanted, or most hated man is Geert Wilders, a real Belgian who has the crazed idea that Belgium is for Belgians. Today he has a good deal more support. Geert has spent a long time studying Islamic terrorism in his country. Based on his research he says, “I fear that we ain’t seen nothing yet.” I fear he’s right.

Potential leader of Belgium, Wilders. Breitbart.

The solution is very simple. Get men like Wilders into authority and get dogs like Najim into the ground or at least out of civilized nations. The other option is to make frequent use of my terrorism template.

Anyone shocked or surprised by the attacks in Brussels and Paris must have recently awaked from a decades long coma. Congratulations to them on their recovery.

The Nationality Law of 1984 is to Belgium what the Immigration Act of 1965 is to America – demise wrapped in attractive lies.

“Refuge” and “target” must be synonymous.

Left untreated heartworms and terrorists will eventually overwhelm their respective hosts, usually with the same charm and gratitude.

U.S. Marines are taking casualties in Iraq, again, still… We’ve been meddling there a quarter century. Haven’t the bankers kind of bled that one dry?

I actually approve of President Obama’s olive branch to Cuba. It’s about damned time.

“They” say Al-assad is behind the European terror attacks. Just like how Saddam was behind 9/11.

Neo-Nazis are being arrested (for hate) in Europe even as more “refugees” flood in. Funny, but you don’t see many (any) skinheads blowing up trains.

A curious little clique profits, financially and in terms of power, from all this war and terrorism.

Globalism and Satanism seem to go hand in hand.

Though many Americans are unaware Belgium is a real country they are able to gleafully recite the roster of their March madness team. Hope, that is.

Basket weavers are starting to ridicule colleges. With good reason too.

An entire segment of the population is hoplophobic. Their’s are the panicked lives of lemmings.

People used to prefer books to tattoos. Then we got hip. Hip and dumb.

Televisions are like politicians. They convey nothing. They take your money. You can waste a lifetime watching them.

Angela Merkel is like Robert Mugabe in reverse. Less pleasing to the eyes though.

If I had a dollar for every voter who really thought it out,  I’d be dead broke.

Sad to say, but the American way went the way of Pompeii.

I’m envious: at least Dante had a guide.

The central banker makes one hanker for a canker. Astounding, really.

Gandalf for President, 2016? I’m in. Or Radagast. Hell, at this point I’d settle for Nob. Maybe even a plain old Midge.

The average Carolinian points at Georgia and laughs. The average Georgian points at Alabama. In Alabama they’re not sure where they’re pointing to.

This list has officially run out of steam…

Last month I reported on a ranking of livable cities world wide. Brussels, Belgium ranked number 21, ahead of any American city. The city even ran a tourism advertisement this year suggesting it is “a peaceful, welcoming city.” The ad followed negative publicity from the known association between the November Paris terror attacks and Brussels’s Muslim community. Brussels certainly has been welcoming to Muslims and “refugees” – they are a quarter of the populace. Paris related terrorism arrests where made in Belgium just last week.

The city proved less friendly this morning when ISIS bombed the airport and a train station. Thirty-something are dead and maybe 200 are injured.

The religion of pieces – pieces here, pieces there. UK Dailymail.

Friday’s arrest of Salah Abdeslam, an ISIS terrorist formerly welcomed into Europe, coincided with the admission by French officials of the vast scope and complexity of the terror network behind the Parisian massacre (and that of Brussels and so on).

Investigators have come to realise that the Paris attackers, sent by the Islamic State’s external operations wing, were well-versed in a range of terrorism tactics – like suicide vests, gunmen in various locations and hostage-taking – to hamper the police response, the report shows. They have exploited weaknesses in Europe’s border controls to slip in and out undetected, and worked with a high-quality forger in Belgium to acquire false documents.
The scale of the network that supported the attacks, which took 130 lives and wounded 813 people, has also surprised officials, as President François Hollande of France acknowledged on Friday. There are now 20 people in detention in six countries on suspicion of assisting the attackers.

 – French Terrorism Report, reported by The Irish Times.

Everyone, from elected officials to the media to the public, is surprised. They’re shocked by these acts of war. My question is, “why?” How can anyone be surprised at this point? Why isn’t this an expected outcome? I have written and others have written about this problem and its solution. What on earth will it take to wake people up? Is it possible the West has merely accepted terrorism and dominantion by savages as the new normal?

If that is the sad case, I humbly offer the following news story template to make future reporting of these attacks a little easier.

******

TERROR IN [Insert City]!

[City] was the scene of carnage today after terrorists [shot up, bombed, etc.] the [exact location(s)]. [Approximate number of dead] are dead and [approximate number of wounded] are injured, some critically.

Terrorists [began shooting, detonated bombs, etc.] around [time] at the [location(s)]. In the blink of an eye [whatever normally happens at location(s)] turned into a nightmare for those present. The injured victims are being treated at local hospitals. [Quote from witness about bodies and/or body parts everywhere].

[Insert pictures of the aftermath]

Immediately prior to [shooting, bombing, etc.] the assailants screamed, “Allah Akbar!” [ISIS, al-cia-da, other known terrorist group] has claimed responsibility.

[Insert security footage of Islamic attackers just before bombing, etc.]

[City and/or Country] is on highest alert. Residents are being told to shelter in place as [police and/or military] units scour the area for additional suspects [and/or unexploded bombs, casings, other evidence]. [Quote from security official].

[Idiot national politician] vowed today to leave no stone unturned to bring the perpetrators and their supporters to justice. [Self-serving quote from idiot politician].

In [Other Country A (probably America or Great Britain)] [Idiot President or Prime Minister X] declared, “[stupid quote]”. [Insert additional stupid quote if politician X calls for bombing or other military action in unrelated county B – also insert podium pounding picture of serious looking idiot or map of country B]. The shocked attention of the world is now turned towards the people of [city].

[Republican Presidential candidate (or, alternatively, John McCain)] called for immediately carpet bombing the entire Middle East. [Democratic Presidential candidate (or John Kerry)] called for compassion for the Muslim population of Europe and for all refugees.

The facts of and motives behind the [type of attack] in [city] are not clear at this time. It is important, despite the claims and boasts of ISIS, that the public not rush to judgement. [Quote from Social justice warrior Y about the need for tolerance]. In spite of what happened today we all know Islam is a peaceful religion. The government will make things right.

******

Pulitzer prize material it is not. It does fit the narrative though. We either get used to these attacks and the worthless subhumans behind them or we take back our civilization. I opt for the latter course of action.

Craven Cowards Contemplate Crumpling Campus Carry

As I predicted this month H.B. 859, Georgia’s “campus carry” legislation, has passed both houses of the General Assembly. Now the bill has hit an unexpected iceberg of Titanic proportion – Governor Nathan Deal. Deal, who once feigned convincing support for the law, says he may veto it unless several modifications are made.

Most recent photo of Gov. Deal

Deal, a snail among slugs. Georgia.Gov.

Deal’s statement of timidity:

March 14, 2016

The governor’s office released the following statement in response to “campus carry” legislation passed by the General Assembly:

“As a lifetime defender and staunch supporter of Second Amendment rights, Gov. Deal has signed every pro-gun bill to reach his desk. However, he believes legitimate points have been made in regards to certain aspects of the ‘campus carry’ bill and he calls on the General Assembly to address these concerns in related legislation before Sine Die. Specifically, these areas of concern include dually enrolled k-12 students who leave school to attend classes at a university or technical college campus, as well as daycare centers on these same campuses. Deal also believes the governing boards of universities and technical colleges should have the discretion to set reasonable rules regarding disciplinary hearings and faculty and administrative offices. Addressing these issues is an important step in ensuring the safety and freedoms of students, faculty and staff in our institutions of higher learning throughout our state.”

        – Press release.

The problem is that Sine Die, crossover day, is rapidly approaching and there may be insufficient time for a re-do in the legislature. A corrective, secondary bill is technically plausible. It is also unnecessary.

Deal, who needs to be fired, is caving to the demands of whimps like UGA President Jere Morehead, who needs to be fired, and GSU President Mark Becker, who needs to be fired, and lunatic mad moms, as well as Georgia’s thriving criminal lobby.

The governor’s first two objections are incomprehensible. High school students and children in daycare would not be allowed to carry under the law. These young people are frequently surrounded by and made safer by adults carrying guns – at home, restaurants, malls, parks, etc. Why deny them the same protection at college campuses? Why trample the already overburdened rights of adults allegedly on the behalf of the youth?

The third concern caters to a power play by the likes of Morehead and Becker, who should both be fired. Giving discretion to college administrators in such matters is akin to giving a loaded gun to a toddler. There will be casualties. As babes have an understandable lack of judgement concerning weapon safety so beaurocrats have a demonstrated inability to grasp due process. Civil liberty is at risk.

The solution is for Deal to do his job (or resign from it) and sign the Bill. You can urge him to do the right thing. Call him, if you will, at (404) 656-1776. Tell him to man up or get out.

Sneaks

And stole a marrow bone.

I went to Taffy’s house,

Taffy came to my house

I went to Taffy’s house,
Taffy was in bed;
I took up a poker
And threw it at his head

-Nursery Rhyme

You gotta watch the darned Welsh. Just kidding. They’re okay. Sneaks and thieves come in all stripes. Here and now, in the age of information, we have the ability to review copious amounts of news 24/7. There’s always a lot of sneaking going on. Here are a few sneaky gems I found this evening.

ISIS

Those ever tolerant, ever caring jihadis are at it again. Angered by the vast diversion of attention towards the rigged American Presidential election, the Caliphate has to find a way to stay relevant. Their solution? Threaten America with Paris style attacks…soon, so they say.

Maybe they will and maybe they won’t. According to them it all depends on Allah’s permission. His inclinations are rather difficult to predict. They seem largely based on the whims of various terror groups. These groups have consistently demonstrated a desire to attack and destroy. There are quite a few of them in the U.S. and more are coming weekly thanks to our insane policies on immigration and “refugees.” They just need some AKs, a Ryder truck, and a large crowd of complacent Americans – all readily available. For us it is a matter of wait and see, and constant carry and situational awareness. Sneaky terrorists.

Drones

I’ve been droning on about drones for years here. Now the Pentagon has validated my concerns. For a number of years the military has been operating spy drones over America. It’s all okay, of course. They use them “largely to assist with search and rescue, floods, fires or National Guard exercises.” Largely. It’s the small usage that worries me. The kind of usage for civil law enforcement that would violate the spirit of that dead letter, the Posse Comitatus Act.

They’re not going to disclose illicit spying. A national security issue to be sure and one technically allowed under one of the many exceptions to the PCA. What they’re probably not doing is actual national security surveillance – like watching our ISIS “refugee” visitors. That would go against the overarching theme of the modern government – wrecking America. Sneaky spy drones.

Institutionalized Racism

When the military isn’t making money for the globalists or spying on you, they’re busy with nursery rhymes of their own. Signal Corps soldiers at Fort Gordon (Georgia) are being indoctrinated into the mythical horrors of……white privilege.

Privilege exists when one group has something of value that is denied to others simply because of the groups they belong to, rather than because of anything they’ve done or failed to do.

Privilege has become one of those loaded words we need to reclaim so that we can use it to name and illuminate the truth.

– U.S. Army psy-ops bullsh!t.

I suppose that could mean that Syrian and other Islamic terrorists have a privilege because they are granted instant access to America while other, nonviolent immigrants are kept waiting. No, they’re talk’n bout Whitey. Maybe electing a black Commander in Chief might help things….

Here’s some illuminated truth: while the Army wastes time and resources on foolishness, our enemies are preparing war against us.

Then again, this level of PC idiocy coupled with the new trans-everything vogue and the ridiculous lack of security and discipline at places like Fort Gordon might be a good thing for us citizens. They can’t effectively monitor the drones while they cry, bemoan privilege, Facebook, and plan maternity leave.

Egads!!! I hope they don’t realize who Fort Gordon is named after! I got a sneaking suspicion that might cause a PC meltdown. I’ll check my white, male, hetreo privilege now…

The Cops

The D.C. police have an interesting investigative tactic. In their quest for search warrants they have dispensed with the old Constitutional standard of probable cause. Instead of relying on facts and evidence, the cops are swearing warrant applications based on nebulous, talismanic “training and experience.” Judges and attorneys, caring nothing about justice, go right along.

Here’s how that works. The vice squad arrests A for drug possession. The lazy, lying cops tell a lazy judge, based on their whim…er…training and experience, that drugs might, just might, be found at the house A rented from B three years ago. The SWAT team raids A’s old home only to find C, a scared old lady, and no drugs or other criminal activity. C goes into therapy. The cops persecute the rest of the alphabet.

It’s not just in D.C. either. Civil rights suits are springing up but rest assured this new SS style of warrant procurement will live on. Sneaky “justice.”

Banksters

“By way of deception shall you do monetary and economic matters”. – The Banksters Creed.

Those greedy bastards have maintained the utter ruination of the American and world economies since the financial crisis. Now even Jim Rogers says another loose money recession is imminent. Many, including yours truly, say it’s already begun. Sneaky moneychangers.

Robots

What the global banking cabal doesn’t steal from you, the robots will. In twenty years the only jobs left in America will be servicing the robots that service the other robots. Robots are worse than Welshmen. They’re probably privileged and allied with ISIS. Sneaky silicon based jerks.

Schools

Our higher and lower institutions of education are a disgrace. In New York City students at PS75, an elementary school, are taught to pledge allegiance to some fantasy international flag. Maybe they’re preparing for the ISIS revolution. Maybe they’re working with the Army. Who knows? I would say “who cares?” but some of these kids will be headed to college someday.

In college they will need safe spaces and counseling – coddling – in case some mean old gay man comes along saying things gay men aren’t supposed to say. I am not making this up. Students, college students (legal adults) at the University of Pittsburgh reacted like frightened children when one Milo Yiannopoulos, a conservative gay speaker, came to campus.

He said things that hurt feelings. This “dangerous” homosexual had the babes in tears, literally:

“So many of us shared in our pain. I felt I was in danger, and I felt so many people in that room were in danger,” proclaimed Marcus Robinson, student and president of the Pittsburgh Rainbow Alliance. Robinson also suggested that councilors should have been provided in another room to protect students who felt “traumatized” by Yiannopoulos’s opinions.

See anything wrong with this picture? The leader of the campus gays was traumatized by the words of another gay man. At least, by Army standards, it wasn’t white privilege. On second thought, maybe Allah should intervene soon. Schools used to teach the young. Now they just babysit them. Why have them? Sneaky educrats.

And now, I feel bedtime sneaking up on me. Goodnight, dear readers.

A woman in Kentucky is the real life Wonder Woman. I’m not sure if she’s a mom but the title fit well with my headline and with yesterday’s post. She certainly is mighty. This unidentified heroine was shopping at a mall when she encountered a disturbed man. The thug chased her to her automobile and attacked her therein.

UK Dailymail.

Malls are like college campuses and other public places in that people have a desire to frequent them with an expectation of safety. Criminals and their enablers disrupt the expectation. So it was that evening in Kentucky.

Unlike Carol Allen and the mad moms, this particular lady didn’t rant and rave to a Senate committee about specious guarantees of safety in exchange for her freedom. Instead she exercised her freedom and carried her safety with her in her purse.

Once the cretin had her pinned inside her car she produced a pistol and shot him twice. That terminated the attack. The woman went home. The thug, John Ganobick, went to the hospital and then to jail. He later appeared in court sporting a thrachea tube.

31FDF55B00000578-3481507-image-m-23_1457450039313

Dailymail.

This kind of story plays out every day, every hour, in America. Each day some 3,000 good people use firearms to prevent crimes – usually without actually shooting anyone. It happens in malls, schools, homes, everywhere. You normally don’t hear about it in the American press because they have an agenda. They and their government want to disarm the people. The fact that guns save lives doesn’t help them and their cause.

You’ll note this story, from Kentucky, was reported by the British media. Many of the things I cover are chronicled in the European press, especially from England.

The Brits, having largely surrendered their right to self-defense, seem fascinated with Americans exercising our rights. They also seem a bit more objective than their counterparts in the U.S.

There’s a lot of hope in this story. Maybe the woman will inspire others to defend themselves. Maybe John Ganobick will come to Jesus while in prison, thus emerging a better man. Maybe some other thug will think twice before attacking another woman. Maybe the British will regain their stolen liberty. Maybe the mad moms and university whimps of America will go away and leave us free and happy. Just maybe.

Don’t be mad. Be mighty.

Is Our Children Learning?

“Rarely is the question asked: Is our children learning?” So inquired President select, George W. Bush to a crowd in Florence, South Carolina, January 11, 2000. The politicians obviously are not learning. But is … are the children? A new international study doesn’t look too good for youngsters in America. The study is massive, 384 page PDF download but here it is.

The 2015/16 Index of Freedom  of Education concentrates on the availability of “non-govermental” education. The rankings are deeply hidden, starting on page 315. The mighty United States, which ever one knows is the freest place on Earth, is in a tie with Hungary for 17th place. Who knew Hungary was the co-freest place on the planet.

This study is concerned with educational opportunities outside of the mainstream of “public” “schooling.” That would include private schools, charters, community, parochial, family schools, tutoring and home schooling. Most global education studies center on proficiency in one or more subjects. The U.S. does poorly in those too. I didn’t bother to look up any of those. Just Google, “where does America place in … reading, math, science, etc.” and you will be unpleasantly surprised as to just how poorly our schools do in any given field. I think we place outside of the top 20 in just about any category. Frequently American students are the only ones who can’t find America on a map. They also have trouble spelling “America” and can’t count high enough to cover all 50 States. The problem runs from elementary school through high school and even to the university level.

StateLibQld_1_141227_Interior_of_a_school_room_at_Postmans_Ridge_in_the_Helidon_district,_ca._1902

Might as well be Harvard today. Google.

As for free choice in education, the Catholic Register sees a worldwide issue.:

Each country’s ranking depends on four differently weighted factors: the legal possibility to create and manage a non-governmental school; whether it is publicly funded, and if so, which pre-specified costs that funding covers; the net enrollment rate of primary education; and finally, the enrollment rate in non-governmental schools as a percentage of total primary education.

Ireland came in at number one. Were it not for American homeschooling, which typically ranks highest in any rankings, the U.S. would have come in worse than 17th. Most students in America are forced to suffer twelve plus years of prison-like “public” indoctrination. After all that many cannot read. Most that can read only at a 5th grade level.

The Register gets it:

Thomas Jefferson over two centuries earlier:

It is better to tolerate the rare instance of a parent refusing to let his child be educated, than to shock the common feelings and ideas by the forcible transportation and education of the infant against the will of the father.

And perhaps a little more surprisingly, with this Jeffersonian affirmation by the Democratic Party National Platform, which declared (as late as 1892):

We are opposed to state interference with parental rights and rights of conscience in the education of children as an infringement of the fundamental Democratic doctrine that the largest individual liberty consistent with the rights of others insures the highest type of American citizenship and the best government.

How times change!

For most of human history, prior to the twentieth century, children were either educated at home, in church, or in small and independent local schools. Many never made it past what we would call the 5th grade but at least they could read (without wasting seven more years). What changed?

During the late 1800s, as larger and more complex government was beginning to grow like kudzu, and as the industrial revolution was taking off, business and state leaders saw an opportunity. They institutionalized education in order to control what was taught and, ultimately, to control society. To paraphrase George Carlin they wanted obiediant workers just smart enough to fill out the forms and run the machines and just dumb enough to keep taking the status quo. That’s exactly what they got.

Today schools, especially in America, what little or nothing to do with education. They raise children into subservient adults who will pay taxes, watch television, and look forward to social security. It’s not just the schools.

Almost all children are bright and inquisitive by nature. They want to learn. Learning is fun. They question everything. How many times has your child asked you, “why?” You did that too, if you recall. Then sadly, after just a few years, most start to turn into zombies.

Ours is a silly culture where people start absentmindedly at screens most of the waking hours. It’s a sick and dying culture where every form of sin is on display and openly celebrated. Many parents cannot educate their own children because they themselves are not educated. Their too busy with triviality anyway.

Enter the government. How convenient that benevolent old Georgia or California or New York offers free daycare and schooling for the kids. We get what we pay for. It costs nothing and it is worth nothing.

Those government schools waste so much time taking attendance, monitoring water fountains, locking down for nothing, promoting football and other bullshit it is no wonder they can’t teach Johnny to read. He doesn’t need to read to work for corporation X, sit in prison, or collect welfare. It’s part of the plan.

There are plenty of exceptions but they are just that – good apples in a rotten lot. Given the wicked nature of the system, there is no point in reforming it. Reform after useless reform is constantly foisted on the dumbed down public: Deweyism, the Frankfurt school, the new school, charter schools, head start, no child left behind, common core. None of it works.

Abolishing government schools entirely would be a good start but only a start. The whole state needs to be abolished so people can be free to spend their time and money with their children effectively. Those who care will have to step in and step up to do the teaching. Fortunately, with modern technology, this is easier than ever before. A free, world class education is readily available online for any who want it – from phonics to calculus.

Have you heard any of the morons running for president talk about this? Of course not. They may pay lip service to education but they will continue to keep things as they are.

We as adults must change. People must stop wasting time chasing raises, getting tattoos, watching television and loafing around. Spend time with your children. Show them by example what decent educated people do with their lives.

The alternative we are experiencing has nearly destroyed is. We have sacrificed multiple generations on the alter of statism. This is a sin worthy of the millstone. When will we learn?
