Just Another Average Ordinary “New Normal” Day in Paris

Same as it every was. Notre Dame. Sidewalk cafes. The Eiffel Tower. ISIS terrorists shooting policemen with AK-47s. The City of Lights. In fact, they haven’t had it so good since June of 1940.

A policeman was shot dead on the Champs-Élysées in Paris on Thursday night in an apparent Isil-inspired terror attack.

The shooting, in which the gunman was also killed, was carried out by a man who was under preliminary investigation for terrorism but “let go”.

The attack raised questions over how yet another Islamist extremist known to police was able to bring terror to the heart of the French capital.

The shooting came just three days before the first round of the country’s presidential election, and François Fillon, the conservative candidate, last night called for election campaigning to be suspended.

Security will be heightened across the country in the run-up to Sunday’s election.

The Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant identified the attacker as one of its soldiers, naming him as Abu Yousif, a Belgian. Police said last night the man had been identified, but his name would not be revealed until investigators determined whether he had accomplices, Reuters reported.

It was highly unusual for Isil to both take responsibility and name the perpetrator so soon after an attack.

Yes. So many questions. How did this happen? It’s not like the country has been overrun in recent years by savage invaders the government not only refuses to get rid of, but welcomes. It must have been the guns.

Arc de Terrorisme. I wonder if that officer is tired of this sh!t by now. Telegraph / AP.

Of course, as ALWAYS, the suspect(s) was well known to police. Really well known, this time: prior terror activity, murder conviction, etc. Abu Yousif? I believe the Yousif name comes from the Flemish region of Belgium. Damned Flemish. A convicted murderer associated with international terrorists … how did this happen? We may never know.

We do know there is an election, post haste, in France. Charles Martel isn’t on the ballot. Marine Le Pen will have to do. Vote Le Pen, now, and expel the invaders with relative peace and ease. Wait, and you’ll need the second coming of The Hammer.

Fly This: Another “I Told You So”

flying cars

A week or so ago I exposed the lie that is the flying car market. Or racket. Or just “lie”. Lies, lies, and more lies. Next year…

Then, I predicted that AeroMobil’s prototype toy would be a mere prop at the (then) upcoming show. Today I read this headline: Flying cars take off on French Riviera. Complete and utter BS!

Dutch and Slovak companies unveiled their designs as world premieres in the tiny well-heeled principality, where luxury automakers have gathered until Sunday for the Top Marques showcase event.

Bratislava-based Aeromobil, whose first prototype presented two years ago suffered an accident, is back with a “new generation” of flying vehicle named after the firm which makes it.

“We are taking reservations from today for deliveries expected in 2020, after the process of (regulatory) approvals is completed,” the Slovak firm’s spokesman Stefan Vadocz told AFP.

What did I say? 2020. 2030. 2150. NEVER. Lies. Lies. Lies. And more and bigger lies.

nimbus-image-1492736648632

This is FAKE NEWS. The little car-plane that couldn’t. Phys.org.

One will note the expected delivery date is ALWAYS nebulously in the uncertain future. One will also note this sad display took place at a convention hall in Monaco. Cote d’Azur and La Mole were available, with all runways open. Then again, if you’re “prototype” can’t fly, what’s the point?

The good news is that your $1 Million, or whatever they claim, will go a long way in the general aviation market – towards a real product that actually fly – today, not in 20…never.

The bad news took place farther north in France today. I’ll be on that in a second, as soon as WP refreshes.

“Flying” cars … geesh….

Evidence Suggests No Sarin Nerve Gas Was Used in Syria

Even if it was, that should have been none of our business. Deploy Sarin in Alabama, we have a problem. Thousands of miles away in an area known for perpetual violence – not so much. Heartbreak, maybe. Strategic interest, no. That’s IF it happened. Dr. Theodore A. Postol, professor at MIT, presented a scientific analysis which suggests it did not happen (at least as we were lead to believe):

This abbreviated summary of the facts has been constructed entirely from basic physics, video evidence, and absolutely solid analytical methods. It demonstrates without doubt that the sarin dispersal site alleged as the source of the April 4, 2017 sarin attack in Khan Sheikhoun was not a nerve agent attack site.

It also shows beyond a shadow of a doubt that the only mass casualty site that could have resulted from this mass attack is not in any way related to the sites that are shown in video following a poisoning event of some kind at Khan Sheikhoun.

This means that the allegedly “high confidence” White House intelligence assessment ssued on April 11 that led to the conclusion that the Syrian government was responsible for the attack is not correct. For such a report to be so egregiously in error, it could not possibly have followed the most simple and proven intelligence methodologies to determine the veracity of its findings.

Since the United States justified attacking a Syrian airfield on April 7, four days before the flawed National Security Council intelligence report was released to the Congress and the public, the conclusion that follows is that the United States took military actions without the intelligence to support its decision.

Furthermore, it is clear that the WHR was not an intelligence report.

No competent intelligence professional would have made so many false claims that are totally inconsistent with the evidence. No competent intelligence professional would have accepted the findings in the WHR analysis after reviewing the data presented herein. No competent intelligence professionals would have evaluated the crater that was tampered with in terms described in the WHR.

Although it is impossible to know from a technical assessment to determine the reasons for such an egregiously amateurish report, it cannot be ruled out that the WHR was fabricated to conceal critical information from the Congress and the public.

It cannot be ruled out? Given the fact that just about everything from D.C. in the past 100+ years has been a big, steaming pile of lies, it seems it would rule it in.

Postol-6-2

Can solar declination, wind direction, and chemical science overcome the …. Never mind… Postol / Washington’s Blog.

This assessment, if true, would demonstrate not the first deception from Washington. It certainly won’t be the last.

Little, if any, of this will reach the ears and minds of average ‘Muricans of any political persuasion. Did you know Let’s Make a Deal! is back on the TeeVee??

Bearing Arms reports on various irregularities found in So Cal by the ATF:

Violations include selling a firearm without a license (FFL status). Some officers were also purchasing firearms with the intent to resell them or purchasing a firearm on behalf of someone else, which would make them a straw purchaser.

According to ATF’s Los Angeles’ spokeswoman Ginger Colbrun, the ATF is wanting to educate law enforcement officers.

“There is no extra consideration,” Colburn told the San Diego Union Tributor “We believe the most effective way to stop the behavior is to educate law enforcement in what the laws are and aren’t.”

The California Police Chiefs Association sent out the memo last week. Local law enforcement officers forwarded the memo on to their officers and deputies.

“I sent it out to every single one of my cops saying, ‘Don’t forget. This is the way it’s supposed to be done.’ …I felt (the memo) was a reminder that these are the rules and we are not exempt from them,” Escondido Police Chief Craig Carter said.

Yes, this is the same ATF that ran tens of thousands of guns (and a few heavier weapons) to the cartels in Mexico. The pot knows a kettle when it sees one.

A little twist: with all the recent emphasis on trucks and bombs, Kori Ali Muhammad changed things up by getting back to the gun. He murdered three people in Fresno.

Dyer said Muhammad had expressed hatred toward white people and the government. The chief said he shouted “Allahu Akbar” before turning himself into police.

Dyer said he wasn’t clear if it was terror-related.

No. Not very clear at all. Honky-hating Muhammad shoots down three people while uttering the magic words. Obviously not terrorism. Really, there’s nothing to see here. Nothing at all. Pay those taxes and get the TeeVee back on as quickly as you can.

One oddity: part of the murder spree happened at a local Catholic Charities office. CC has been a big player in getting as many terrorists into America as possible. What could go wrong? Clearly not terrorism.

Even on Easter …. Terror Australia, Terror Ohio

I almost didn’t see this first one. And I almost didn’t post it on this Easter Sunday. After I read the second story I decided to lump them together.

Evil does not take holidays.

A Sydney man was assaulted by a Muslim gang because he is a Christian.

Christians in Sydney, Australia, are being advised to hide their crosses after an Arabic-speaking gang shouting “F*** Jesus!” attacked a couple on a train while transport officers looked on from a “safe space” and did nothing.

They ripped off his Cross and stomped it during the attack. Of course the authorities just looked on – just like the Australian government has “looked on” in allowing the Mohammedan invasion down under.

Just as people in Ohio (John Kasich, et al) look on as Muslims attack, maim and kill. Abdul Artan wasn’t enough. They needed something more. Today they got it.

Evil does not take breaks.

In Ohio, police are desperate to find one Steve Stephens who perpetrated the Easter Day Slaughter – killing possibly 15 people, at least one on FB Live. From associated videos (what we’re allowed to see) it seems Stephens “snapped”. He says that repeatedly. He looks deranged and curses a lot. Not someone you’d expect to be a children’s counselor, which he is (was).

He is (was) also an active member of the Cleveland Islamic Center.

nimbus-image-1492390637776

Jihadi beard and all. JC Jones / Twitter.

Ohio, Stephens is still on the loose. Consider him armed and extremely dangerous. If you see him, either run or drop him, DRT.

Oz, the communists took your better guns away, not log ago, for “safety”. Now, they recommend you put your Christianity away for the same reason.

This cannot stand. Feel free to regard your treasonous politicians as the terrorist accomplices they are. Maybe it’s time to put all of them away … for safety.

Accidents and Incidents: Terror Spain

Sometimes bad things cannot be reliably predicted. A five-year-old child is dead after he became trapped between a table and a wall at Atlanta’s rotating Sundial restaurant.

westin top

Channel 2 / AJC.

The Sundial sits atop the downtown Westin hotel, occupying the 72nd and 73rd floors. If you haven’t been there, you must go. The tables downstairs and the lounge seating upstairs revolve fully once per hour. The views from 72 floors up are impressive. On a clear day one can see all of Atlanta and as far away as Alabama and the mountains of North Georgia.

I highly recommend the experience at night. I also recommend the fillet, medium-rare (no ketchup, Donny). If the outside, glass elevator ride is a bit much your you … wimps … there are internal options. Just ask the lobby desk.

Once or twice I pondered safety at the Sundial. The gaps between the outer windows and the inner walls and the moving floors are extremely thin. I suppose the boy was somehow caught between a column and the table. I didn’t know they had an automatic shutoff but it makes sense. I think the boy’s tragic end was a freak accident. I’ve never heard a similar story and imagine there won’t be any repeats.

The same cannot be said of Europe and, specifically, Mallorca, Spain. This was the site of today’s terror attack. (Thanks to Vox for breaking this one).

Another invader. Another sidewalk. More carnage. ISIS has had a suspicious presence on the island for at least a year. This particular Muslim terrorist says he actually lost control of the car. Please ignore Nice, Columbus, Berlin, London, Stockholm and other similar, deliberate attacks. Five are known injured, some critically.

Some things cannot be prevented. Some can. Or could.

  • It is believed that he only suffered cuts to his hands from the shattered glass
  • ‘No element’ of the explosion points toward an organised terror attack

It seems to have been targeted specifically at the soccer bus. And there were no deaths and only one severe injury. Still, we had better not take any chances. Better ban soccer, buses, and mobile phones…

Nica: Cigars or Surveillance?

I go ahead and call it: Nicaragua is the new Cuba – simply the best tasting cigars in the world (with some stiff competition from numerous countries).

Nica also has a long, sad history of civil strife, coupled with international meddling. The U.S. has been involved for decades as have the Russians. Now, the NZ Herald reports on new suspicions over a Russian facility outside Managua.

US officials are keeping a keen eye on a Russian complex nestled on the edge of a volcanic crater in Nicaragua.

The center, which is believed to be a satellite station, has been built near the Laguna de Nejapa in Managua – the capital of the Central American nation, according to Daily Mail.

The Washington Post reports the local government described the complex as, “simply a tracking site of the Russian version of a GPS satellite system”, but not everyone is convinced it isn’t something more sinister.

“Clearly there’s been a lot of activity, and it’s on the uptick now,” a US official and expert on Central America, told the newspaper.

Other officials said there are concerns the hub could be a “dual use” facility, meaning it could house equipment and workers with the ability to conduct electronic surveillance against American citizens.

From where the compound is located, it offers those who are based there a clear view of the US Embassy about 10 miles away in the heart of Managua.

I have no idea what is going on down there and, unless and until it disrupts the trade from Esteli or Jalapa, I don’t really care.

Leave these folks to work. Smoke Shop Mag / Perdomo.

Nations spy on each other, tensions and reasons or not. That’s not my concern. My concern is earthy-flavored smokes. Let me make it clear to Washington and Moscow: leave my friends and sticks alone. Keep your braindead BS in Syria or Ukraine or anywhere else. Don’t make me come down there…

About that Missile Strike in Syria

Donald Trump, Syria, War

Virtually all American foreign policy and military action over the past 120 years has been based on lies and deception (and a desire to profit from destruction). Mr. Clinton’s Trump’s misadventure in Syria last week was no exception.

Speaking of foreign policy, it’s nice to once again have Amy Carter Ivanka Trump providing driving consultations on weighty matters.

DONALD Trump’s decision to rain down 59 Tomahawk missiles on a Syrian air base was sparked by his daughter Ivanka’s “heartbroken” response to Assad’s chemical attack, insiders have claimed.

Trump has long opposed military intervention in Syria – both as a private citizen when he criticised Obama’s intervention in the region, and as President.

But the Republican firebrand is believed to have made his dramatic U-turn after being convinced by his daughter Ivanka’s impassioned response to the Assad regime’s use of chemical weapons on Tuesday.

A source close to the first family said: “Increasingly, Ivanka is having more and more influence over her father.

The feelings… It was all the “beautiful babies” killed that got the attention of the White House. No word of concern, yet, for the other babies killed by the missile strike. Gotta break some eggs I suppose…

There is still no evidence whatsoever that Assad gassed anyone. Of course, evidence is no longer required. The government and the media need mere allegations, sensational or otherwise, and little else. The gullible public will believe what they’re told. Their goldfish-like attention span always expires by the time the truth comes out.

The truth, here, in the earliest stages of the aftermath, appears that ISIS or some other “rebel” group stored crude chemical weapons in a warehouse. These are the people Assad is fighting to free his nation from. The Russians are fighting them too. As part of the fight Moscow bombed the warehouse. Gases incidentally escaped and killed people.

The CIA (likely backing the “rebels” or whoever) knew all of this. Where known truths fail, lies will work. Blame Assad and drop some bombs. Stir the pot into further frenzy.

Ron Paul called it like it is:

“The peace talks have ended now. They’re terrified that peace was going to break out! Al-Qaeda was on the run, peace talks were happening, and all of a sudden, they had to change, and this changes things dramatically! I don’t expect peace talks anytime soon or in the distant future.”

Peace, Dr. Paul knows, isn’t very profitable for the Empire and its owners. The strike was worse than useless from a peaceful standpoint. It will keep the Syrian cauldron boiling. It keeps ISIS happy and busy. It destabilizes the already shaky region. It did nothing to ISIS operations in Egypt, Sweden, or anywhere else. And it risks further needless confrontation with Russia. Some beautiful babies are dead. But, hey, we’s tuff!

Now, if you will simply turn your attention back to the glowing screen on the wall, I think some men are playing with balls. Beer might be advertised.
