Yes, They Should Probably Start Worrying

America, blog, terrorism

This is both an attempt to clear some material out of the hopper with a combination post and an attempt to bolster the sagging end of a great, high-traffic week. Let’s see it the one begets the other or visa versa.

The third great wave of Islamic conquest in the West rolls on, nearly unopposed. Nearly, but not completely. As the Mohammedans push into our territory, they bring with them their backwards ways (female genital mutilation, etc.) and their Sharia laws (just for them – to start…). It seems a few Americans are awake and revolting against these intrusions, protesting Sharia at the least.

The Mohammedans, always helpless victims, cry out about their fears over the backlash.

Looking ahead, Muslim leaders and others are concerned about anti-Shariah, or Islamic law, marches planned for Saturday in Seattle and about two-dozen other U.S. cities, saying the marches are really anti-Muslim. They consider the incidents in Portland and Eugene, and other recent anti-Muslim crimes in America, part of an alarming trend that came to the forefront in last year’s presidential election with far-right activists portraying Islam — and all Muslims — as a threat.

“Our Muslim community is feeling a tremendous amount of stress and pressure,” said former Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn, who plans to attend a counter-rally Saturday. “It’s important for local leaders to express solidarity and make clear we stand against bigotry, against racism and with our Muslim neighbors in the state and beyond.”

Stress and pressure, horrible, yes. Maybe they should leave such a stressful, pressuring society in favor of their homelands where their ways are the norm?

They feel pressured even as we tolerate attack after attack from their more radical brethren. And they promise more attacks – daily and everywhere against all Westerners. I believe them. And they recruit our “citizens” into their most barbaric organisations.

Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah Speaks In Beirut

Coming to your town – now.

Even Reality Winner (Real Name) felt their pull somehow. Amid her crazed rambling and leaking, she expressed varied support for Islamic terrorism causes and actions. This has little to do with my evolving theory in the matter. Anyway, were I her, I would strongly consider an insanity defense. The crossfit stands as half proof for this assertion.

Finally, and quite off topic, I have been meaning to write something based on This Article about enduring bad graduation speeches. I’m not going to get around to it, so I’m letting go. Just know and understand that I once endured the babbling craziness of a John Kerry speech (UMass Lowell graduation, 2008). I survived with the assistance of Scotch whiskey.

That is all….

Happy June! And thank you for helping make last month the best May in blog history.

The site’s fifth anniversary is just around the corner. I’m planning a little digital party and you happen to be invited. (No RSVP required).

And I just completed the first of several big summer road trips. (I declare that summer is here, now). Had a great time, thanks. A few things….

A. The drive was not-so-bad but could have been better. People, please re-acquaint yourselves with the art of driving a darned car. I did not encounter much of the idiocy I normally find across the two larger Southern states but I did see room for improvement.

B. Plan B. The next ten years or so should hold an inordinate amount of road travel for old Perrin. Or just travel. If you (not YOU, but others in general) refuse to learn to merge, speed up, not text, signal, etc., then I have a counter-plan.

This weekend I paid a little visit to my new friends at Atlas Aviation at TPF. I’ve made it a goal to complete something I started 20 years ago. I hope to have, by the time the sixth anniversary rolls around, at least a Sport License.

Atlas.

If and when that happens, you are free to slowly limp and weave down 75 in any manner you like; I’ll look and laugh from above, somewhere below 180 but nowhere near the mayhem.

Now, on with the summer time.

There’s a lot of stuff going on. All over the place. Yet I almost missed a day – two weeks shy of a year of perfect daily postings. So there’s this:

It was a beautiful day. This kind of day.

The rest can wait.

Hope you had a fine day out there. I did.

When I published my first book I decided to shoot a promo video on YouTube. That turned into a haphazard experiment in videography. Here, I strive for consistency, if incoherent. I’m in the 42nd week in a row of at least one post per day. That pays off, kind of.

Over at YouTube, the story is different. I haven’t made a video in months. The quality is substandard. I ramble. Blah, blah, blah.

Yet, and still, I just found out that my bumbling attempts to entertain on-screen have garnered over 1,000 views since I started in the Fall of 2015. For such low effort that’s a lot. Many thanks to my dedicated four or five subscribers. Will do better in the future. Promise. Fingers not crossed…

Shooting guns and my mouth…

Here, things are great but still looking to go to the next level (whatever that is).

I have over 50 drafts sitting around in need to completion. Will do better. Fingers … yeah. On the published side, I’m nearing 1,200 posts. So, overall, my resume could be updated to reflect thousands of published articles, blurbs, books, etc. How many? No idea. North of 2,000, so …. thousands.

This was another one though not very thought-provoking. Hmmm.

Wow. What a day! Took the show on the road again today around 4 AM.

1) The traffic report:

I-20, I-95, I-10, I-75, all U.S. Highways, and all side roads are all in terrible shape. Every single mile is under construction, blocked with clover wrecks, and prowled by the Po-Po. Abandon all hope. Stay home.

2) “Check Engine”. On a 500-mile trip! Awesome. I did, she looked fine – if a little dusty.

3) Got into the Southern Command and discovered my auto-post selections from last night did not work. Thanks, Word Press! Now I look as drunk as the Russian with the magic nuclear moles….

All better now.

Writing for a living means computer use, like it or not. (I really do not..).

Today we upgraded the server service at FP.com – faster and more reliable! Just as soon as the bugs are worked out… One doesn’t find the bugs until after the fact. Aggravating to say the least. The site has plowed through the rankings – doubling traffic in less than six months. There’s that.

Maybe it’s just me but the old internet seems to be running painfully slow lately. Al Gore needs to upgrade his invention.

Then there’s my little laptop. She’s closing in on a year old and maybe starting to show her age. Some of the keys stick and the mouse control ain’t what it was. Could be cigar smoke residue or pollen (early spring). Hmm.

Finally there’s the fact that the machines are getting smarter by the day, approaching the point of consciousness. Fun for all, that will be.

I’m trying to think of some solutions. Here’s what I’ve got so far:

More of a sneezing fit really. Big sneeze and then I felt fine. Until this morning. Only too late did I consult weather.com for the pollen count (its high).

Some years I have no allergy symptoms at all. Some years there’s a little here and there. And, then, some years it hits me all at once like a sledgehammer to the head. Guess what kind of year 2017 is. Yeah.

The good news is that I know this will be over fast. The better news is the antihistamines.

Anyway, why did I write this out. Well, I have several rants to get to. And I have several longer articles in the works. But all of that requires a clear head. That’s something I rarely have anyway and hay fever doesn’t help.

I’m not going to discard you like a used tissue (or 5). Before you go, please take a free PDF, a how-to project I wrote up a while back for Freedom Prepper, a tiny (FREE) e-book:

Okay, now. Where’s my Advil???

I just looked at the top media websites of December, 2016. Sadly, my little site didn’t crack the top 100.

nimbus-image-1485615534956

These numbers are staggering. Congratulations to Matt Drudge on another heavy finish. MSN’s performance is partly explained by monopoly. ESPN is, of course, the premier altar of the Amerikan national religion.

I see plenty of hope and room for growth in the list. Carlos Slim’s blog placed at number nine. Very impressive.

This here is Post 1,000! Literally one thousand great reasons to visit perrinlovett.me.

Welcome back. It’s been nearly five years since I cranked out this little post. I quickly followed it up with a report on the Supreme Court’s idiotic decision on Obamacare. Almost 1,000 posts later, this week, I wrote about the pending demise of that failed law and program. Yes, I like to think I had something to do with that.

Over the years (years now) I’ve also written about:

  • Law
  • Government Evil
  • Guns
  • Religion
  • Schools
  • Cigars
  • Western Civilization
  • Christmas Ties
  • Immigration
  • Society
  • The Rich and Famous
  • Movies
  • Fitness
  • Economics
  • And 100 other things.

As always, there is more and better to come, here. And soon, too. Mark your calendar for June and the site’s fifth anniversary special.

For a thousand posts I give you a million thanks!

Standby! Post 1,001 is right around the corner.
