My friend, Graydon Brown, has taken a good concept to new heights in Georgia’s second city. He has Apathy Town’s newest (and only) brewery cranking out some of the coolest and most innovative craft beers in America. Brown, the Texan master with over 30 years experience, knows what he’s going and it shows. He also knows cigars.

I just sampled a few brews to include the IPA and the Brown Ale. Here is the Savannah River IPA, a cool but stout 7% ABV with an incredible distinctive flavor:

After a few years of dawdling, pre-Graydon, the company is now in full swing. I suspect distribution is their main focus. I can’t really recommend a visit: sure it has to be nice but I won’t tell anyone to enter the deserted industrial zone ‘tween the ghettos in Southern Detroit. Of course, if you’re there, do stop in. I can recommend, however, trying to find these micros at better shops and bars near you. Right now that is limited to GA and SC (and I fear not even the good parts) but I would imagine the range will grow rapidly.

If you enjoy beer with actual taste, then these are right up your alley. They might even convert a few yellow water drinkers.

Vox Day commented on Theresa May’s comments about last night’s attack: (My reactions in red);

While it beats the usual “diversity is stronger than hate” ritual, the UK Prime Minister’s new anti-terrorism program falls well short of one with any chance of success:

‘We cannot and must not pretend things can continue as they are. Things need to change and they need to change in four important ways.’

Defeating the extreme Islamist ideology to make them understand ‘pluralistic British values’ are superior

Ending the ‘safe space’ online for the plotting of terror attacks

Continuing military action against ISIS terrorists in Iraq and Syria

Tougher prison sentences at home for terrorist offences

First, the problem is not “the extreme Islamist ideology”, the problem is Islam. Period. The West will continue to suffer these attacks so long as Muslims are permitted to reside in the West. There is a reason why Western nations periodically expelled troublesome minorities, and they will have to do so again if they prefer peaceful societies to diverse ones. The West will either embrace Reconquista 2.0 or it will cease to exist.

Amen. The pot itself is now melting.

Second, pluralistic British values are not only not superior, they are not even coherent. “Pluralistic values” is a self-contradiction.

Yes. The “native” values never differed that much at all, as to nearly seem identical to the non-British, from Nottingham to Wales to Scotland. E Pluribus Unum. Multi de Bellum.

Third, the problem is not safe spaces online, but the safe spaces in the West. It’s very difficult to commit an attack in London or Manchester if you reside in Libya and your travel is banned. Not so tough if you reside in Bradford.

I thought May’s attack on socials was as stupid as Kathy Griffin’s attack on “old white men.” It’s not Farcebook and the Twits, Mrs. May; it’s you and your policies.

Fourth, fighting them there instead of here hasn’t worked since 2001. It’s not going to work in 2017 either. Military action against Islam is needed in the UK, Europe, and the USA, not in Iraq and Syria.

As I noted last night, as always, Iraq and Syria (et al) do not matter. Bombing there does nothing except create more “refugees.”

Fifth, imprisoning terrorists has historically proven counterproductive everywhere from Egypt to Germany. It usually leads to more terrorist attacks and hostage-taking. Even simple deportation is probably preferable. And the prospect of prison is not likely to dissuade suicide bombers. Only severe reprisals will suffice to do that.

The leaders of the West are still shirking their duties. They’re trying to win a war without fighting it. That is why new leadership is required. And that is why the God-Emperor should now declare martial law and imprison the judges who are illegally attempting to tie his hands.

A slight disagreement, here. The “leaders” aren’t just shirking responsibilities – they are actively adding to the problem. Trump has ancient precedent to round up dissenters, to include judges and members of Congress, but he will not do it. He won’t even stop the enemy from Taqiya-ing in the street in front of his home. The same goes for May. Instead I foresee some more pointless missile strikes in the near future in the usual pointless places.

On Farcebook I’ve seen people echoing Trump’s sentiment that the courts need to “give us back our rights.” That’s not going to happen and it shouldn’t be expected or welcomed – completely the wrong mindset. The Constitution is dead and gone and the rules you whoop to follow are all rigged against you.

They’re also wondering how much worse this all has to get before the masses look up from the idiot boxes. I would say “much worse” but I just have no real idea; TeeVee is a powerful drug.

Finally, if Theresa May is still in denial, some Britons are not. This morning I received excellent ideas from the UK on what to do. “Want would Winston do?” More on that later.

And I had so wanted to either cap the evening with a tale about the beautiful, blonde and based French woman I met at the gym this morning or one about my friend’s incredible new craft beers. No.

You’d have to live under a rock on Mars not to know at least a little about what is unfolding in London tonight/this morning. And I’m not sure I can say any more or anything new that I haven’t already typed a dozen times.

A few thoughts:

1. Islam and radical Islamic terrorists are enemies of the West. Not our only enemies but perhaps the most visible; they are: here, active, deadly, and damned-near unopposed. If you can’t grasp that at this point, then you’d best get back under your rock.

2. All of our political leaders are worse than useless. All of them – May, Trump, Merkel, Macron, etc. Treason!

3. Donald Trump, this evening, admitted defeat:

We need a leader who will ban the terrorists and then ban the judges and anyone else who gets in the way. A few more bombs in Syria, Afghanistan, and Yemen won’t help London, Paris, or New York. All my optimism has left the Trump Train. And, while we’re at it, May Day!

4. As such, there are no political solutions – yet. One hopes a second Charles Martel is out there somewhere but we haven’t seen him so far.

5. The British government armed their police even as they disarmed the public. Coincidence? No.

6. The armed police tell the unarmed masses stupid shit like this:

Where ya going to run to? These are coordinated attacks (plural – more than one). You run from one right into another. Hide? These bastards like that. They get to play hide and seek with you. Then they get to use their deer knives with a rousing “Aloha Snackbar!” And who exactly will you tell? THEY, none of them, give a damn.

You, my dear civilized friends, are on your own. Might I suggest, instead of “Run, Hide, Tell”:

It is now time to turn the tables. And the barrels. Maybe a few fuel trucks.

7. How bad is it now? London is an ultra-modern metropolis with the most state-of-the-art security apparatus on Earth. That city and all of England is already on red alert, condition critical, attacks imminent, the highest possible level of alertness. And it does nothing.

The bobbies and the rifles of the Met were already backed up by 5,000 army soldiers. Now, the SAS is deployed in the city center. For the tattoos, television, and Budweiser crowd in the U.S.: “SAS” stands for “Special Air Service.” This is the most elite special forces group in the UK. Because of the (entirely predictable) possibility of events like this, 2 squads are stationed in the capital at all times – no word as to whether they are all completely mobilized tonight.

For the shit-stupid, see-no-evil, dullards in Plato’s electronic cave, this is tantamount to Navy Seals being deployed to NYC after an attack. In other words, this is about as serious as it can get without breaking out the Polaria.

8. Candles, vigils, Farcebook flags, thoughts and prayers, etc. are useless.

9. If you dare to use this event as another excuse to excuse Islamic terrorism and berate whites, Christians, and natives as Nazis, mean-spirited, haters, Islamophobic, xenophobic, racist, and “the real problem,” then you are the problem. You, the sympathizer, are just as bad and just as guilty as the actual terrorists.

10. There are other, more institutional enablers of this Satanic garbage. They must be annihilated along with the Jihadi scum. Not bannished, not punished – annihilated.

11. This is going to keep getting worse. Much worse.

12. Finally, please look at our people in the following picture: rudderless, leaderless, and clueless. They are also victims: scared, fleeing, panicked. This is beyond pitiful and reprehensible.

Concert Terror Attack Foiled in Germany?

Details are scarce at this point; it seems the police received some sort of tip or other evidence. A “concrete” threat shut down the concert in Huerburg. A successful evacuation, even if due to a false alarm, is better than what happened in Manchester.

A MUSIC festival in Germany has been evacuated after cops warned of a “terrorist threat”.

Organisers asked all attendees to leave the Rock am Ring festival in Nuerburg, Germany, following what they say was a security warning by police.

Koblenz police said they had received information of a “concrete threat” against the event.

In a statement, cops said they were in possession of “concrete elements, in the light of which a possible terrorist threat cannot be ruled out”.

It added: “As safety is the key priority and any danger to festivalgoers has to be avoided as much as possible, a decision has been taken to suspend the festival for today.”

A statement on the event’s official Facebook page asked revellers to remain calm and vacate the site in an orderly fashion.

The statement said: “Due to a terrorist threat the police have advised us to interrupt the festival.

“We ask all festival visitors to leave the festival site in a calm and controlled manner towards the exits and camping grounds.

“We have to support the police investigations.

Of course, it would be best if Germany was still for Germans, eh Herr Merkel? The “skinheads” in your army are not behind this; you know who is – likely to the man (or Imam).

CARACAS, June 2 (Reuters) – One is shown blowing a kiss from a private jet. Another is seen posing in front of a store of luxury jeweler Cartier in China. Others grin as they tuck into a plate of lobster or a massive birthday cake.

Venezuelan activists are increasingly posting details of locations and lifestyles of leftist officials and their families, depicting them as thriving off corruption while the population struggles to eat in a devastating economic crisis.

The social media blitzes, targeting officials and their business partners, relatives and even lovers, are another weapon in a wave of huge protests against President Nicolas Maduro’s government that began in April. Protesters are seeking early presidential elections, freedom for jailed activists, and humanitarian aid to alleviate chronic food and medicine shortages.

One Twitter account published photos purportedly showing the wife of Vice President Tareck El Aissami enjoying champagne and lounging on a pristine beach with her sisters. In another case, an alleged lover of a powerful Socialist Party official is shown on trips to the Middle East.

It is always like this. “Let them eat rats…” It’s another double standard. You pay for it. Then you pay for it again. Then you eat Fido.

More experts pile on about the rise of AI.

In less than 50 years, artificial intelligence will be able to beat humans at all of their own tasks, according to a new study.

And, the first hints of this shift will become apparent much sooner.

Within the next ten years alone, the researchers found AI will outperform humans in language translation, truck driving, and even writing high-school essays – and, they say machines could be writing bestselling books by 2049.

In less than 50 years, artificial intelligence will be able to beat humans at all of their own tasks, according to a new study. And, the first hints of this shift will become apparent much sooner.

In a new study, researchers from Oxford University’s Future of Humanity Institute, Yale University, and AI Impacts surveyed 352 machine learning experts to forecast the progress of AI in the next few decades.

The experts were asked about the timing of specific capabilities and occupations, as well as their predictions on when AI will become superior over humans in all tasks – and what the social implications of this might be.

The researchers predicted that machines will be better than humans at translating languages by 2024, writing high-school essays by 2026, driving a truck by 2027, and working in retail by 2031.

If this happens, the only jobs for humans will be as acts or exhibits in circuses or zoos for robots. No more doctors, lawyers, plumbers, or writers (huh!?). Bleak.

A year ago I reported just how bad things in Venezuela were getting. Bad, yes, but then just the tip of the iceberg.

Today I wrote a cautionary column for Freedom Prepper about the continuing slide of the South American nation. Please give it a read regardless of whether or not you know about or care about the crisis. Odds are you don’t (know) because of the near black-out by the American media.

Through the horrible lense of Venezuela we are witnessing the complete collapse of an entire society. This was brought about by many factors – chief among them Communism (Socialism). And it can all happen anywhere to any people – even Americans. Please learn and prepare.

I’ve written some shorts and posted some links about the crisis this year. Some few of these have proven extremely popular. If I have time, I would like to write out some fully timeline of the collapse with detailed analysis. (No promise on that).

HERE ARE BUT A FEW OF THE PROBLEMS CITIZENS ARE FACING IN THE STRICKEN NATION:

High unemployment;
No money;
Price and monetary inflation;
Food shortages;
Starvation – the average person has lost nearly 20 pounds already (some have died, more will);
People are eating rats and pets to survive;
The grocery stores are empty and closing;
Martial law;
Daily riots and ultraviolent crime;
Complete desperation;
Schools are closed;
Power is out;
Water is interrupted; and
On and on and on…

What’s happening there is terrible. For us, potentially more terrible, is the specter that this could happen in the U.S. – or anywhere.

The media did rave over Venezuela just a few years ago. The former president made scathing, hilarious, and partially (mostly?) true remarks about G.W. Bush at the U.N. The media covered that. Then the former leader sent tankers of free home heating oil to New England during a cold winter – a gesture for America’s poor. That was in part a publicity stunt. The media picked up on it.

It is strange they are so uninterested now that the nation has descended into utter chaos. Small wonder. As I noted last year, Venezuela is was a statist’s paradise, home to so many thoughtful, progressive, socialist and communist programs and ideals. Now, it seems, the chickens have come home to roost. Now the people eat rats or starve while dodging bullets in the dark.

The same people who told you life in the South American paradise was so great, then, are the same people telling you America and the West need to adopt the same systems now. It’s not that they don’t learn – they do. They just do not care. You should.
