Another great reason to avoid the dreadful aisles of Wally-World.

Walmart said Tuesday it will discontinue all sales of handgun ammunition and sales of short-barrel rifle ammunition that can be used with military style weapons, following two “horrific” shootings at Walmart stores this summer. It will also stop all handgun sales in Alaska, marking its complete exit from the handguns category.

The biggest retailer in the world is additionally asking customers at Walmart and Sam’s Club to no longer openly carry firearms in stores, in states where “open carry” is allowed, unless they are authorized law enforcement officers. Open carry legislation is currently on the books in more than 26 states, Dan Bartlett, executive vice president of corporate affairs, said during a call with members of the media.

Walmart said it won’t be changing its policy for customers who have permits for concealed carry. And it will be adding signage to stores in the coming weeks to communicate the changes.

I think the message is loud and clear. Sam Walton would be so proud.

How about shooting the damn thing? At least some satirists are starting to get it.

Every day for 10 months, Knightscope K5 patrolled the parking garage across the street from the city hall in Hayward, California. An autonomous security robot, it rolled around by itself, taking video and reading license plates. Locals had complained the garage was dangerous, but K5 seemed to be doing a good job restoring safety. Until the night of August 3, when a stranger came up to K5, knocked it down, and kicked it repeatedly, inflicting serious damage.

STill trying to get te schematics of the K5 but I’m sure the power is down low – aim there. Fire until it stops moving and starts burning.

The US economy is so strong that half a million jobs are fake. These people just throw numbers and words are the wall…

Turns out hiring wasn’t nearly as strong in 2018 and early 2019 as the government initially reported — by about a half-million jobs.

The economy had about 501,000 fewer jobs as of March 2019 than the Bureau of Labor Statistics initially calculated in its survey of business establishments. That’s the largest revision since the waning stages of the Great Recession in 2009.

The newly revised figures indicate the economy didn’t get a huge boost last year from President Trump’s tax cuts and higher federal spending. They also signal the economy is a bit weaker than previously believed and could give the Federal Reserve even greater reason to cut interest rates in September.

“This makes some sense, as the 223,000 average monthly increase in 2018 seemed too good to be true in light of how tight the labor market has become and how much trouble firms are said to be having finding qualified workers,” said chief economist Stephen Stanley of Amherst Pierpont Securities.

Yeah. Seemed too good to be true. Anyway, more bullshit next week to make it all better!

Watch Italy to see how a country is supposed to protect its people. Go Salvini!

Italian President Sergio Mattarella is expected to sound out party leaders in coming days to see whether a new governing majority can be assembled in Parliament. If not, snap elections could take place as early as late October or early November.

Mr. Salvini withdrew his support for the government on Aug. 8, calling for elections, on the grounds that 5 Star was blocking policies that Italy needs, including infrastructure investments. Leaders of 5 Star have reacted by exploring the possibility of a coalition with the Democrats, a mainstream party that 5 Star has strongly criticized in the past.

Italy’s power struggle is a sign that Europe’s political upheavals have a long way to run. Electorates in Europe have become volatile over many years, but especially since the financial and immigration crises of recent years, which have weakened the credibility of established conservative and social-democratic parties in many countries.

Mr. Salvini’s tough stance against immigration and his rhetorical attacks on the European Union have helped turn the League into Italy’s most popular party, with support of around 36% in the latest opinion polls.

Introducing the amazing new Countercyclical Capital Buffer!!!!!!

Federal Reserve officials are weighing whether to use a tool that could reduce the risk of a credit crunch in a downturn.

The tool is known as the countercyclical capital buffer. It allows the Fed to require banks to hold more loss-absorbing capital should the economy show signs of overheating, or to keep less of it during bad economic times. The buffer applies generally to banks with more than $250 billion in assets, including firms such as JPMorgan Chase & Co., Bank of America Corp. and Citigroup Inc.

The Fed’s board of governors so far hasn’t used the tool, approved in 2016. Its rule on the buffer says it should turn it up when economic risks are “meaningfully above normal” and reduced when they “abate or lessen.”

Now, some Fed officials are debating whether it is time to use the tool, which could provide banks with additional lending firepower in a subsequent downturn. It isn’t clear when they might make a decision.

They’re REALLY changing. More stuff the media never reports.

The consequences of past actions and the imminent failure of a global paradigm that’s dominated human existence for decades can no longer be delayed. They’re coming to the fore as I write this and yet all the media and most people can focus on are the symptoms of failure. Past events lead to future events and there are in fact consequences for irresponsible actions. The various things people panic about on a daily basis are typically symptoms that can be traced back to a macro system failure, but nobody wants to talk about that. It’s too big, too daunting and seemingly impossible to fix absent collapse.

Yet outrage, anger and a cry to “do something” about symptoms of a much bigger problem will only result in an even more entrenched surveillance state going forward. Focusing on symptoms is not just short-sighted and a waste of energy, but it’s also likely to lead toward more authoritarian solutions and tendencies over time. Misdiagnosing a disease can be as deadly for a civilization as it can be for an individual.

Say! Isn’t there a swell election coming next year? That’ll be your chance to fix everything, once and forever. And, I think football run until then, so it’s all good, right?

Like musical chairs without the music. A great story at LRC about two of the biggest movements of humans in history.

International Man: Former Libyan leader Muammar Ghaddafi once warned that “Europe runs the risk of turning black from illegal immigration… it could turn into Africa.”

Since the United States and NATO helped overthrow Ghaddafi in 2011, millions of migrants from Africa and the Middle East have poured into Europe. Many transited from Libya.

This is all well known, and all signs point to this trend accelerating. What’s your take on where this is going?

Doug Casey: First, it’s a pity Ghaddafi was taken out. Another disastrous US policy decision. Not that he was a nice guy—no one running an artificially constructed nation-state can be. But it was at least a stable situation. Now it’s been replaced by a bloody and costly war. And it’s complete chaos. Nice work Hillary and Obama. But let’s talk about Africa at large.

Africa, or at least migration in and out of Africa, is going to be the epicenter of what’s happening in the world for the rest of this century.

And, by “great” I mean of large magnitude. It’s not-so-great if you live in Europe or America.

Billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, 66, kills himself in his Manhattan jail cell, 24 hours after files in his case were unsealed and two weeks after he was placed on suicide watch ahead of his sex trafficking trial

Jeffrey Epstein has hanged himself inside his New York City jail cell
He was discovered by prison guards in cardiac arrest on Saturday morning, and was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead
Epstein was arrested on July 6 on charges of conspiracy and sex trafficking, and was being held at the Metropolitan Correctional Center without bail
He was reportedly placed on suicide watch following after a first suicide attempt on July 24
Epstein’s death comes just 24 hours after court documents detailing his sexual abuse of underage girls were unsealed by the courts
The explosive documents included claims from Epstein’s alleged ‘sex slave’ that she was required to have intercourse with a number of powerful men

Ha! The “justice” system actually had a hand in justice? I don’t buy the suicide story because it’s not something psychopaths do. But, if he’s dead, then good fucking riddance!

Let the celebrations begin! And, the justice for his friends and conspirators.

The narrative is set: white supremacists are the main threat to “American” security and Donald Trump is a Russian Nazi. We need to turn in our guns. But, did you know that??? Just read this.

Who wrote ‘Our lifestyle is destroying the environment of our country … creating a massive burden for future generations. Corporations are heading the destruction of our environment by shamelessly over-harvesting resources … the next logical step is to decrease the number of people in America using resources. If we can get rid of enough people, then our way of life can become more sustainable’?

The answer, if media reports are accurate, is Patrick Crusius, the man accused of the El Paso massacre. The words appeared in his testament, entitled (in homage to Al Gore?) The Inconvenient Truth, which he seems to have put online before decreasing the number of people in America by 22.

Who said, on Twitter, ‘I want socialism, and I’ll not wait for the idiots to finally come round to understanding’? Connor Betts, the man accused of shooting nine people, including his sister, in Dayton, Ohio.

Unfortunately, the Amerikan people seem about as stupid as the elites are evil. Another inconvenient truth.

It would have been better if this Connor Betts had been electrocuted in 2014.

Dayton gunman Connor Betts’ depraved appetite for murder, drugs and Satanism is laid bare in series of chilling journal entries obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

The warped loner, 24, declares himself a servant of ‘evil incarnate’ and rants about everything from schizophrenia to satanic rituals and massacres.

He even hints at the idea of ‘hunting’ a victim to kill at the University of Dayton – writing: ‘We take a b***h, a person, man, convince them to come with us then poof, gone lol down?’

The frightening pages were revealed by a former friend who paints a confounding picture of Betts as a frequent methamphetamine smoker who played violent video games – but was never a racist or interested in weapons.

Betts finally acted on his murderous impulses when he went on the rampage early Sunday morning, slaughtering nine people and injuring a further 27 in Ned Pepper’s Bar.

His sister Megan, 22, was among the first to be killed before Betts was shot dead by police patrolling Dayton’s Oregon District. Six of his nine victims were African Americans.

As cops search for a motive, friends and acquaintances have come forward to speak of a troubled young man whose ‘dark thoughts’ scared even himself.

‘I can definitely assure you he was never racist. The person I met him through is half black,’ Himes added.

Well now, that makes it all okay.

You know, your friends in Hellywood are about to release a movie about these types hunting down the deplorables like deer. They’re okay with the concept on film and in real life. They hate you. But, they love a good old video game-playing, hookah-smoking, meth-head, rape-fantasy, gamma/incel, satanic socialist.
