Are too stupid to understand the answers. Even as they recite all of them.

Little is known yet about this shooter’s history — and I refrain from using his name, since infamy is part of what these shooters seek — but so far, he fits the profile of those who’ve come before, the rage-induced young men we first encountered through Columbine and later Sandy Hook, Aurora, Charleston, Virginia Beach, the STEM school shooting in Colorado, Charlotte, the Poway synagogue shooting in California, the Louisiana shootings in two parishes, the Sebring shootings in Florida (those last six this year alone), the Mercy Hospital shooting, the Thousand Oaks shooting, the Tallahassee yoga studio shooting, the Jacksonville Landing shooting, the Art All Night shooting in New Jersey, the Santa Fe HS (Texas) shooting, the Nashville Waffle House shooting, the Marjory Stoneman Douglas HS shooting — and far too many more to mention, but all with one thing in common.

The ever-incubating mass shooter, these young men nurturing their anger through first-person shooter games, violent pornography, through racism and a fascination with guns and violence, is our greatest, most stubborn and pressing threat — more so, I would argue, than Islamic terrorism or Russian hacking or immigration or trade wars.

They (every one of them needlessly on the same psychotropics) certainly can’t be angry about the “Russian” delusion, the decline, the IMMIGRATION, the budding Sharia, nor the usury, the sodomy, the obesity, the stupidity, and the diversity. Nope. Must be Trump’s fault. The “clips.” “Racism.”

If you’re one of these idiots, and the present levels of violence offend you, then consider removing to a desert island before the coming show starts.

Gun Control Works!

All you have to do is ban certain stocks and “clips” and crime magically disappears. Or, if it doesn’t, just blame it on a book no-one has ever heard of.

Turcan said he didn’t see much of Santino Legan — the boy didn’t box or train in martial arts. The teen’s grandfather, who died last year, was a former Santa Clara County supervisor who was accused and acquitted of molesting his daughter in 1982.

“That family is a good family, really respectful, really hardworking,” Turcan said. “I don’t know where this comes from. It’s shocking, just shocking.”

As of late Monday, police were “no closer” to determining whether there was a second person involved in the shooting, Gilroy Police Chief Scot Smithee said.

“Everyone wants to know the answer: Why?” Smithee said. “If there’s any affiliation with other people, or groups of people, that could potentially pose a threat in the future, that all plays in.”

Of course, he didn’t box or do anything physical. He just stewed in his low-IQ mental illness amidst a dead culture of social media lunacy. Had to be the stock and “clips.” Better ban those…

A lesson from the Italian middle class: with plenty of cool charts:

Something has changed and the change is deep in the very fabric of the Italian society. And the change has a name: it is the twilight of the age of oil. Wealth and energy are two faces of the same medal: with less net energy available, what Italians could afford 50 years ago, they can’t afford anymore.

But saying that depletion is at the basis of our troubles is politically incorrect and unspeakable in the public debate. So, most Italians don’t understand the reasons for what’s going on. They only perceive that their life is becoming harder and harder, despite what they are being told on TV.”

To resource depletion I would add lower returns on both capital and labor–what is known as diminishing returns: the same investment yields less output.

This decay of return on investment manifests as an S-Curve, which is a constant reference point in my work: an investment that earns a large output at first yields less and less, until the yield (output) stagnates and then declines. Increasing the investment no longer reverses the decline, and often accelerates the decline into a crash.

Feels like you, eh? For Americans, no need to fret. I hear to cure-all election is right around the corner. Sure to fix everything. Vote the Rock!

All Keynesians Now?

Who said that? Nixon or Friedman? Did they mean all of the Keynesian ways? if so, then it might explain much about the deep state and the Epstein-ism.

The economist then transitioned his analysis into Keynes’ life, which revealed his pedophiliac tendencies:

It is no coincidence that the breakdown of the family has come about through the implementation of the economic teachings of a man who never had any interest in the long term. A son of a rich family that had accumulated significant capital over generations, Keynes was a libertine hedonist who wasted most his adult life engaging in sexual relationships with children, including traveling around the Mediterranean to visit children’s brothels.

Keynes was one of the important architects in the construction of Satandom. His work was integral to the inversion required to create the modern financial system that is built on a foundation of usury.

Thanks, once again, Vox! Again, we see that the evils are always bound closely together. Which, might make them easier to burn all at once. Can we all be Crusaders now?

Jeff Epstein: Cosmo Man and Int’l Intelligence Asset

By “a cute Texas girl,” he really meant a literal girl (preferably under 18). Cosmo isn’t the real indicator though.

The Mail described Epstein as an enigmatic figure, rumored to be a concert pianist, a math teacher at an elite girls’ school, and connected to the CIA and Mossad, Israel’s intelligence agency. “The most intriguing rumor is that he was a corporate spy hired by big businesses to uncover money that had been embezzled,” the article stated.

In 1993, the Washington Times depicted Epstein as a “maverick investor and Clinton supporter” and “president of the Limited clothing-store empire.” (The New York Times, in a 1991 blurb, identified Epstein as “president of Wexner Investment Company.”)

Going where the prey is? Check.

Dual loyalties? Check.

Birds of a feather? Check.

As is water…

Brilliant! Why didn’t anyone else think to call Trump a “racist” before now?

Axelrod was responding to a tweet by Trump on Saturday in which the president called Cummings’s district a “disgusting, rat and rodent infested mess.”

Trump sought to contrast the district, which includes downtown Baltimore, with conditions at the southern border, calling it “FAR WORSE and more dangerous.”

Cummings, the chair of the House Oversight and Reform Committee that has conducted probes into the administration, has called the treatment of migrant children at government facilities near the southern border “government-sponsored child abuse.”

Trump got it kind of wrong. It’s not an infestation of rodents that have destroyed Baltimore (and more cities). But, nonetheless, congratulations to Trump on his 2020 electoral victory.

An Encouraging Sign in the Epstein Case

This may be a very good sign for justice (if that word still applies).

Federal prosecutors in New York overseeing the case against millionaire Jeffrey Epstein are preparing to hand over highly-sensitive investigative material to the financier’s defense attorneys after a federal judge on Friday granted the government’s request to place a protective order on the documents.

Prosecutors sought the order because, they said in court filings, they intends to produce documents and materials that could … “affect the privacy and confidentiality of individuals…[and that] would impede, if prematurely disclosed, the Government’s ongoing investigation of uncharged individuals.”

A Brady Motion has been filed by now, I’m sure. The fact that the DOJ was ready, at this early stage, to deliver evidence to the accused means they are ready to fight. In cases where they lack substantial evidence, or where there is ample exculpatory evidence, they either sandbag near or at trial, or they outright hide the goods.

The fact of the protective nature of the disclosure is self-explanatory. “Investigation of uncharged individuals.” Let’s hope they’re ready for those cases too.

America, invasion

The numbers behind the invasion of late. And, these are the ones that didn’t get away. Well, okay, they do eventually, melting into that pot.  Have a look:

From October through the end of June, the Border Patrol apprehended more than 688,000 people, over half of them families and unaccompanied children. Although people from all over the world enter the United States via the Mexican border, the vast majority come from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, three Central American countries where violence and poverty have gripped many lives.

…

And, that other chart about violence rates? Yep! The US needs to ban guns…

Right, Republicucks? The people speak?

After hitting a new high last month, mentions of immigration as the most important problem facing the U.S. increased further to 27% in July. Since Gallup began regularly recording mentions of the issue in 1993, immigration has been cited by an average of 6% of Americans, though it has been higher in recent years. There have been occasional, typically short-lived, spikes when major immigration events were occurring.

The molten pot.
